Dear Keller Families,

Hello Keller Community! Thank you to everyone who was able to join the Back to Bash celebration last month. A special thank you to the Keller administration, staff, PTA volunteers, and the Paper Jam band. You all were instrumental to the success of this event. Please read below for our monthly PTA update. 
 
PTA Meeting Anyone?
Our next meeting will be held on Monday, October 6 at 4:30pm at Keller. Please join us! We will be voting on our budget for the year and providing committee updates. Save the date for our next meeting on November 3.
 
Current Volunteer Opportunities: We need help handing out hot lunches on Thursdays. You can sign up for one or more shifts here. We need help in November and December selling treats during the lunch period. Sign up here. 
 
Membership
Sign up to be a PTA member by Sunday, October 5 and you will be entered into a drawing to win a $25 Dunkin’ gift card. We will hold the drawing at the October PTA meeting. Your membership is a great way to support our students and school. Your membership goes towards helping to support field trips, events, teacher appreciation, and community service projects. Parents, guardians, grandparents, neighbors, teachers, staff, and friends of Keller are all welcome to join. Every membership helps to support our students and school. Please note, if you join, you are not obligated to volunteer or attend PTA meetings unless interested.
 
NEW! Reflections
Reflections is the National PTA Arts Program that asks students to get creative! Students can draw, paint, write a story, take a photo, choreograph a dance, or produce a short film! This year’s Reflections theme is “I Belong.” The art projects will be judged and have the chance to move on to the state and national level of competition. Learn more about this year’s program, as well as rules and deadlines here. Hard copies of the student entry form are available in the cafeteria and main office for any student who is interested in participating.
 
Dine to Donate at Chipotle!
Please save the date for our next Family Dining Night. It will take place at Chipotle located at 15 E Golf Rd on Wednesday, October 8th from 4-8pm! Here’s the flyer with more details. 
 
Next Treat Day is October 8
The Keller PTA offers a treat day the second Wednesday of each month during lunch. Treats are $1. Parents or guardians must complete this permission form the day before treats are sold in order for your student to be able to purchase treats. You only need to fill out this permission form one time for your student. The permission form is valid for the entire 2025-2026 school year. Please note one treat per student with a completed form, and no bills over $10 will be accepted. Mark your calendars for treat days! 10/8, 11/12, 12/10, 1/14, 2/11, 3/11, 4/8 & 5/13 
 
School of Excellence Survey Coming Soon
The Keller PTA is pleased to announce we have been recognized as a National PTA School of Excellence for the fifth year in a row! Please help us maintain this recognition by taking an anonymous, short survey in October. Your feedback helps shape future School of Excellence programs at Keller.
 
Hot Lunch
Keller’s PTA organizes hot lunch on Thursdays through Marlaslunch.com for the 2025 – 2026 school year. Please see more details here.
