What is the Geography Bee?
It is a contest designed to motivate students to learn about the world and how it works.
Who can participate in the Geography Bee?
Seventh and eighth grade students at Keller are able to participate in the bee.
What is the time commitment?
Students must attend one of the practices that are offered, and they must participate in Keller’s Geography Bee/Qualifying Exam to qualify for District 54’s Bee.
What is the practice schedule?
Students must attend one of the following practices:
● Thursday, 1-29-26: After school from 2:15 to 3:50 pm in room 125
● Thursday, 2-5-26: After school from 2:15 to 3:50 pm in room 125
● Tuesday, 2-10-26: After school from 2:15 to 3:50 pm in room 125
● Tuesday, 2-24-26: After school from 2:15 to 3:50 pm in room 125

When is Keller’s Geography Bee/Qualifying Exam?
Keller’s Geography Bee is Tuesday, 3-3-26, after school from 2:15 to 3:50 pm in room 125.
What happens at Keller’s Geography Bee?
Students will compete to be one of four finalists to participate in District 54’s Bee.A total of four contestants will advance to the district’s bee.
What happens if you win the Geography Bee at Keller?
The winning student will receive a certificate—along with pride, bragging rights, and Geography Bee glory!
What day and time is District 54’s Geography Bee?
The District’s Geography Bee is on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at the District Office. Please note: Students must provide their own transportation to the district office.
