Dear Keller Community,

I hope this message finds you all doing well and ready for the weekend.  This past week was outstanding at Keller, and what made the week so successful can be connected back to teams.  I have mentioned previously that TOGETHER AS ONE speaks to teams and most importantly family, the most important aspect of our home and work life. To educate our students, ensure their success, and provide opportunities for every child to become the version of their self takes a TEAM effort.  All that you do you for your child on a daily basis to have them ready to learn never goes unnoticed.  On behalf of the Keller staff, thank you for all that you do support your child and for sending your child to school every day ready to be at their best.

My message to the students on Friday as we head into next week centered on OWNERSHIP.  Specifically owning what we can control.  Every day there are three things we control.  Our attitude, effort, and our actions.  Continue to focus on being positive, working hard, and making others around you better.  These are three essential elements that will help strengthen relationships and lead to a positive school culture.  Additionally, focusing on our attitude, effort, and our actions requires ALL OF US to continually invest time and energy in creating a positive culture at Keller.  Each day this week, as a school community, let’s commit to being 1% better with what we can control than the previous day, and I have no doubt that we will WIN THE WEEK!  TOGETHER AS ONE!!!

As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our front office staff or me.  Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and support and we will work “TOGETHER AS ONE” to ensure the success of our students.

Regards,

Tom Barbini
Principal

Keller PTA Hot Lunch

The Keller PTA is transitioning to a new platform for hot lunch ordering called Marla’s Lunch.  Marla’s Lunch will be the platform going forward for our PTA Hot Lunch Program on Thursdays.  This platform will add more flexibility in ordering and streamline the process.  This includes no more wait times on invoices, and parents can now order weekly or in advance.  Attached to this email is a handout with information regarding the link to Marla’s Lunch platform, and directions on how to create a login.  Several of our families are familiar with this platform as it is by many PTAs in our school district.  Even though you may already have a login, it is important to create a login for your child attending Keller by following the directions included in the attached handout.  If you have any questions, please contact the Keller PTA via email [email protected] or text 331-901-0120.
